About
I wanted a weight loss program that was simple, safe, effective, and affordable. Little did I know my ambitions would lead me to a career.
Over the years I, like most everyone else it seems, struggled with my weight. I exercised regularly, ate what I thought were good meals but still I put on the pounds. Not just a couple pounds mind you, I put on over 30 pounds in just a year and nothing I did took it off–something had to change.
Through some soul searching I discovered the cause of my weight gain to be not living up to my personal life’s expectations. I rededicated myself to myself and started taking on life challenges, really stretching “me” in every area I could think of and looking for what filled my heart with joy.
Helping others realize and develop a healthier life for themselves, as it turns out, is what makes me feel ALIVE. You see, a lot of us make New Years resolutions to lose 10, 20 or even 50 lbs with the hopes that doing so would make everything in our lives fall in place. I discovered that making a self pledge is only the first step. There are many other components to being successful in creating life long health. Some of which you just can’t find in a book.
Over a year ago I started down the path to become an all around Wellness Coach. I took training courses, did the research, developed, organized and led a “Best Life” weight loss group. I became so committed to my cause that I even convinced my husband to convert my two car garage into a Wellness Studio, but still something was missing. My clients needed, no deserved, a weight loss program that was healthy, simple, effective and affordable. I didn’t want to get into the business of pushing products, instead I wanted a program that could allow me to focus on helping my clients realize a better life for themselves without having to go through the pains of finding their way through the mess of our weight loss world.
Along came Take Shape For Life. It’s a super simple, actually “goof-proof”, cost neutral program where the client need only buy the food they need. I don’t sell, I coach, which is what I love after all.
